有一次我去探访朋友，朋友住在十二楼，
电梯只到十一楼。我就在十一楼的楼梯转角遇见它。
当时它一直对着转角处的那户人家叫~后来看见我就粘住我脚跟走不放。
我带它去朋友家做客。回家的路上，沿途带它去找妈妈。
这才发现原来家楼下有好多猫…….大家都很休闲嘛~
妈妈找不到，找到一个纸皮箱，里面有牛奶，猫料…….
我猜那就是它的家。安置好它我才放心回家去了。
隔天傍晚，我和表妹下楼吃饭。想起它，吃完饭我们俩就跑去看看。
不看还好， 一看我们俩马上就心软了。
它一只小猫孤苦伶仃的往我们跑来，这次连纸皮箱都没了，被人家收走了！
所以我们决定带它回家暂时领养。
想在这里呼吁一下！！有没有想要养猫的朋友？有的话请留言给我好吗？
真的希望十一楼可以投靠到一户好人家。甘夏啦！！
我暂时叫它十一楼，英文名字叫eleven. 哈哈~

i would like to have the kitten lor. so cute. but im too afraid of cats! after an incident that happen along my way to school. 这是唯一的遗憾。

hi for info, there are too many abandoned cats due to irresponsible owners. Hence, due to space & financial constraints, spca most of the time have no choice but to put the cats to sleep. Sad but very true..
Sound like Singapore is gradually become a city of kittens/cats! It wasn’t that many cats around years before.. what happen?? People abandoned their pets??
Jesseca, I think you should keep 11, you two found each other.. it’s called ‘yuan fen.’ Besides, 11 looks just like Crusso, let Crusso be the big brother of 11!

Spore is not becoming a city of cats as you claimed. In fact the numbers has decreased over the years due to volunteers sterilising and managing the cat population. Kittens found were mostly due to irresponsible and ignorant owners for not sterilising their pets and letting them out to roam.
Jesseca, in fact i think you should be an ambassador for the cats, hoping that your “star quality” can educate the public that pets are for life and be a responsible owner. Some people think that they are only pets, but to the pets, we are their everything…

All these happen due to those irresponsible and ignorant owners, however, even though Jesseca becomes the ambassador for cats, I bet the problem will still linger around and probably never stop. All depends on the person’s mindset. If education really helps, there will be NO such thing happen in this world. I’m sad to say, education nowadays is for people to earn money in the future.

Just like they used to discipline those who are littering, chewing gum, etc. I think besides $$ fine, should put irresponsible owners for community work.

Yes SY, the problem will never just go away overnight, especially such problems has been around for decades. However I believe public education does help to a certain extent, especially when that person has some kind of influence on others, like a “star” to their “fans
Of course, that was only a suggestion, knowing that Jesseca is really busy with her filming schedules and newly startup biz.
Good proposition from Faithdog but then again, who is going to educate the govt on that? In fact I knew some volunteers has been writing to govt officials but you know our govt, they have better bigger things to worry than some animal problems. Many times, they choose the quick way to handle animal problems, trap and kill.. like during the SARS period and the recent monkey case..
My hope is someday some celebrity from Spore become the voice for animals just like Vivian Chow from HK who has cats of her own had supported openly for animals in need.

i understand you’re lookin’ for a responsible and suitable owner to take care of eleven. im an animal lover and i would really love to take care of it. it’s not gonna be easy to pass eleven to someone who just thinks its cute/adorable as they might just treat it as a toy for awhile and then neglect it later on. moreover, i can’t bear for it to be sent to SPCA. ):

YES! K! VIVIAN CHOW IS MY IDOL AND SHE REALLY TAKE GOOD CARE OF HER PETS! She donated large amounts of money to the funds just for pet. k, I wonder how old are you cos not many know vivian chow as she retired quite long ago! haha..
